Help in Suffering is a humane and compassionate charity dedicated to providing excellent quality veterinary treatment and care to all animals in need in the city of Jaipur, India.
The animals we support are either sick, injured, maltreated, abused, starved or abandoned. Most of these animals live on the streets of Jaipur and would have nowhere else to turn.
Our main centre is a dedicated hospital complex in Jaipur. From here the team work tirelessly to reach any animal in need. The animals are either brought to the centre by members of the public or collected by our ambulances and brought in.
The purpose of the centre is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome animals in need. By working with the community we provide education to the local community to help bring about an end to the suffering of abandoned and free roaming animals.

Rabies kills about 25000 people in India each year
164000 dogs have been vaccinated through our programme. Rabies kills about 25000 people in India each year, 95% of human rabies cases come from infected dog bites.
Our programme started in 1994 and is now the third largest in the world. Because of this programme, Jaipur is currently rabies free averting more than 500 human deaths.
